No One Who Calls Jesus Lord Will Enter The Kingdom Of God

This teaching comes to us from a Muslim friend. It is from a very poor translation of Matthew7:21. It also ignores other Scriptures which makes the TRUE teaching of this passage very easy to understand. This is called 'taking Scripture out of context'. You can get some pretty WILD things out of the Scriptures when you do this. They will not be true, correct, or honest, but God gave man 'free will' to do good or bad. To Love the Truth, or love the lie. Your choice.

Matthew 7:21 Correctly Translated

Not everyone saying to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but those doing the will of the Father of Me in (the) heavens. (This is word for word from the original Greek).

We can easily see that there is quite a difference from NO ONE to NOT EVERYONE. The lesson here is, that some will call Jesus Lord, Lord, but will not truly mean it in their hearts, and will not enter into the kingdom of the heavens. Others will call Jesus Lord, Lord, and WILL truly mean it in their hearts, and will enter into the kingdom of the heavens.

Revelations 22:20 He which testifies of these things says, 'Surely I come quickly'. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
