God WAS human and we murdered Him.
He had to live with the reputation of being a bastard child. He suffered
pain, hunger, thirst, fatigue, anger, misery, grief, and temptation, just
like us.
God as Jesus Christ WAS human.
He preached Love, Joy, and Peace. He fed the poor and the hungry.
He healed the sick, blind, lame, and outcasts of society, both in body
and in mind. He saved people's lives, including that of a prostitute.
And we murdered Him.
Jesus Christ, God come to earth
as a HUMAN was:
A rebel
A heretic
An outcast from His own place
of birth
A dessenter
An outlaw
A 'wanted' man by the law
Homeless
Hated by the government, the
state, and the church
A Jew
Not good looking or glamorous
The Bible tells us that He had
NO form or comeliness. Put into plain old english, as far as looks
go, this means he was just plain on the ugly side. The Bible says
that He did this so that no one could say people followed after Him because
of His 'looks'.
Jesus was a carpenter.
They went into the forest, chopped down their own trees, and dragged them
back to the building sight. (Horses were only for the rich)
So he was probably very tanned, and very strong.
(Note: Palestine in ancient
times must have been extensively wooded as there are over 300 references
to trees and wood in the Bible. Also over 25 different kinds of trees
have been identified as having grown in the Holy Land. Most of the
wooded areas in Palestine have been cut down.

And because He gave Peace, Joy,
and Love to people, He was murdered after a 'Kangaroo Court' trial.
A trial where witness's were $paid$ to lie about Him. Tried by a
judge who hated Him. And beaten, whipped, and crucified by the Romans,
who wanted Him dead to get rid of a trouble maker.
God WAS human, and they called
Him Love, Joy,
and Peace.
Not Hitler.
A last thought:
There is more EMPIRICAL (scientific, factual) evidence for the RESURRECTION
of Jesus Christ than for the life and deeds of Napoleon Bonaparte'.
And yet no one questions Napoleon's life. Strange, eh???

There has been more written about
Jesus of Nazareth than will ever be written about Napoleon. Jesus
the carpenter has changed the world and history more than Napoleon ever
did. And Jesus Christ STILL is changing the world and history today.
Thousands of people knew Jesus personally. Napoleon was a loner.
Only a handful could vouch for him. For most he was a distant figure
in a battlefield, if even that. When Napoleon was in Egypt, he slept
in the Great Pyramid of Cheops, ALONE. How exciting, blah.
There are more documented first hand eyewitnesses of the death and resurrection
of Jesus than the death and burial of Napoleon. There are four separate
biographies of Jesus in just about every hotel and motel room around the
world. The Gideon Bible. When is the last time you saw a biography
of Napoleon distributed like that. Guess why. Because Napoleon
lies rotting in his grave, and Jesus is alive. Jesus is also
noted in secular writings, including that of the ancient Roman Historian
Josephus, Claudius Caesar, the Archo Volumes, and others. And a last
little thought: How many people do you know that were willing to
give their lives for Napoleon Bonaparte' AFTER he died? How many
people do you know who would be willing to be jailed, tortured, and killed
for a 'phony' resurrection? Thousands of people who knew Jesus were
willing, and many did, give their lives AFTER the resurrection, and people
still do today. First hand eye witnesses (willing to die), history,
and documentation, it is all there, and it all beats Napoleon Bonaparte'
by a long shot.
